Choice Ireland would first of all like to thank the committee for the opportunity to put forward the voices of the young women of Ireland who are at reproductive age and who will be most affected by this legislation. We would like to congratulate the government on finally commissioning a report on this, and assuring the Irish public that this will be dealt with in a timely manner.

Choice Ireland stands in solidarity with Costa Rican women fighting for the right to legal abortion.  We ask for Irish support for Aurora, whose tragic circumstances are described below. Please sign the petition, email the addresses at the end and share this page with others.

Choice Ireland is a non-funded voluntary activist organisation. All we have, we raise through donations. Anti-choice groups are lobbying strongly against even such a limited change as legislation for the X case. We need to be able to counter this.

Choice Ireland T-Shirts in time for Xmas!! Choice Ireland activists took part in Independents Day on Nov. 22, 2009, at the Dublin Food Co-op. The CI stall was a great success, with lots of people stopping by to talk about the issues, express interest in the group and check out our array of badges, T-shirts, leaflets and posters.
